Deviled Eggs With a Kick

The next time you have a potluck or a family gathering you can make some very tasty deviled eggs with a kick.  Every time I make them, people come and ask me if I made more.  They usually go pretty fast.

Ingredients:

1 dozen hard boiled eggs
2 Tablespoons of Mayonnaise made with Olive Oil
garlic powder to taste
cilantro to taste
black pepper to taste
1 Tablespoon of homemade salsa or your favorite salsa
1 Tablespoon of juice from a jar of pickled banana peppers
chili powder

Instructions:

Once you have shelled the eggs, place the yolks in a large bowl.  Add your Mayonnaise.  Then the garlic powder to taste, some finely chopped cilantro and black pepper to taste.  Then mix.  Next, add the salsa and juice from pickled peppers and mix thoroughly.  Place the mixture back into the eggs and then sprinkle chili powder on top.  They not only look good but they taste great.  They have a spicy taste and have a good kick especially if you use a salsa that is medium to hot.  These are always a hit whenever I make them.

Today I'm linking up with The How to Mommy for Tasty Thursday blog hop.  Check it out for instructions on joining the hop and to see some great recipes.

That recipe sounds great. I'm going to try it out. As weird as it sounds, I love trying out new deviled eggs recipes. So good and pretty good for you too (as long as you have organic eggs). One thing I do is put everything into a zip lock back, mix/mash in that then cut a whole to put it into the egg whites.

I'm a new fb follower from the smokiestyle hop. You can find me on fb at My Baby Sleep Guide

Thanks,
Rachel
