Wedding fashions for spring 2013 are featured in Brides.com this month and I wanted to show a few of them today for Fashion Friday. I like the newest trends and I've picked my favorites from their selections. The trends they showed were featuring color in wedding gowns, portrait back gowns, peplum styles, lace nouveau and transforming gowns. If you are planning a spring wedding next year, check these out and maybe you can model your own wedding dress after one of these gorgeous designer gowns!
This is a red gown designed by Romona Keveza. I like the red roses with this gown. It might also be good with an offset bouquet color like white or pink roses.
Here is another red gown designed by Vera Wang.
If you prefer a more traditional look but still want color, this gown by Oscar de la Renta adds a nice hint of blue on the train. I also like this simple, coordinated bouquet.
If you want color and a beautiful portrait back gown this black dress by Isaac Mizrahi could be your inspiration. Remember Sarah Jessica Parker's black wedding gown pictures? Black could be a beautiful and flattering color for your special day too.
Here is a very pretty portrait back wedding gown by Reem Acra. It almost looks like a snowflake look.
Another trend is having a gown with waist defining peplum styles such as this one designed by Angel Sanchez.
Here is another peplum style gown by Alfred Angelo.
This cute lace wedding gown is designed by Monique Lhuillier. I love the shoes with this one as well. Very sweet.
Here is a beautiful Marchesa lace gown. Perfect for a spring wedding!
This is one of the transforming dresses that has a removable lace top. It is made so you can have a dress with a special look during the ceremony, but still keep on the same dress for the party after the wedding.
Oscar de la Renta made this transformable gown with a lace cover that can be taken off after the ceremony. This is not a traditional wedding gown by any means! I'm certain it would take a special kind of confidence to pull this one off on your wedding day.

Hope you enjoyed this look at Spring 2013 Wedding Dress Trends. For my wedding almost a decade ago I had a much more traditional gown. But it's still fun to look at how wedding styles change through the years. Looking at them will always remind you of your own special day, whether it has already passed or is in the planning stages or has yet to happen. There is something exciting and special about wedding gowns. Happy Fashion Friday!
