Tip of the Week - Strawberry Almond Facial Scrub

I haven't yet tried this one, but it sounds easy and I think this is one I can easily make.  All you need is 1 ripe strawberry, 1 tsp of ground Almond ( I have a small blender that can grind an almond into a fine powder) and 2 tsp of baking soda.

Step 1: Mix the ground almond and baking soda together.

Step 2:  Slice the strawberry into the bowl and mash it with the other ingredients into a paste consistency.

Step 3:  Wet your face with lukewarm water.

Step 4:  Rub the paste onto your skin in circular motions. Don't tug or pull the skin and avoid your eye area.

Step 5:  Rinse your face thoroughly and pat skin dry.

The strawberries help pull impurities from your pores and the baking soda helps clean your skin of any bacteria.  The almonds help to naturally exfoliate impurities from your face.   All three together will make a great, natural, cost effective, facial scrub.  I can't wait to give this one a try!  If you have tried this combination in a scrub before, let me know what you thought of the results.
