What Celebs Were Wearing at the Golden Globes 2012

Tonight at the Golden Globe Awards I noticed many of the gowns were black ,white or red.   The styles were great.  I'm posting a few of the pictures below.

Angelina Jolie was wearing a white dress with a red collar and matching red clutch purse. She always looks great.

Reese Witherspoon looked great in her beautiful red gown.

Michelle Williams wore a blue patterned gown at the awards tonight and she also won an award for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe.

Charlize Theron was wearing a light pink gown with some cute sandal shoes to match. She also had a cute matching clutch purse.

Viola Davis wore a beautiful maroon gown with a gold clutch purse and black open toe shoes.

Salma Hayek wore a black gown with a metallic design on top.  She looked great as she presented with Antonio Banderas.

Madonna wore a grey gown with her classic cross necklace.  She was also a lucky winner tonight!

Okay, we need a few of the cute guys that were there tonight.  Leonardo DiCaprio was there for his work in J. Edgar. He looked great as he always does!

Johnny Depp was at the Golden Globes tonight as well and we loved seeing him.

Product Review - Schick Hydro Silk Razor

I received my free Schick Hydro Silk Razor and have been using it for the past week.  I love this razor and would recommend it to others.  It has 5 blades which give your legs a close shave and the moisturizing bar around the blades leaves them feeling so smooth all day long.  I have been using mine in my shower and the handle is so ergonomically on target.  The way they made this makes it easy to hold as you shave and gives the perfect angle.  I also haven't gotten any cuts or nicks while using this razor like I have with others in the past.

If you are in the market for a new razor that really works, this one is now available on the market in your local drugstores and grocery stores.  However, I still have a few free samples left if you want to try one free too! Here is the link to my prior post and if you are lucky enough to get one free, you won't be sorry.  Free full size sample with coupons Schick Razor.

I know you will enjoy this one!

Tip of the Week - Olive Oil

HLNB Healthy Living Challenge - Day 14

January 14th Day 14Yesterday I walked for 1 mile.

I ate a salad, drank 100% fruit juices with all 3 meals and drank 24 oz of green smoothies throughout the day.   I used the recipe from my post written last year on St. Patrick's Day "Happy St. Patrick's Day".  It's a great recipe for getting your 7 servings of fruits and vegetables in each day. If you drink 1 quart (32 oz) of the green smoothies you will be getting 15 servings.  Just drinking 1/2 a quart each day will get you the recommended servings in a day.

Deviled Eggs With a Kick

The next time you have a potluck or a family gathering you can make some very tasty deviled eggs with a kick.  Every time I make them, people come and ask me if I made more.  They usually go pretty fast.

Ingredients:

1 dozen hard boiled eggs
2 Tablespoons of Mayonnaise made with Olive Oil
garlic powder to taste
cilantro to taste
black pepper to taste
1 Tablespoon of homemade salsa or your favorite salsa
1 Tablespoon of juice from a jar of pickled banana peppers
chili powder

Instructions:

Once you have shelled the eggs, place the yolks in a large bowl.  Add your Mayonnaise.  Then the garlic powder to taste, some finely chopped cilantro and black pepper to taste.  Then mix.  Next, add the salsa and juice from pickled peppers and mix thoroughly.  Place the mixture back into the eggs and then sprinkle chili powder on top.  They not only look good but they taste great.  They have a spicy taste and have a good kick especially if you use a salsa that is medium to hot.  These are always a hit whenever I make them.

Today I'm linking up with The How to Mommy for Tasty Thursday blog hop.  Check it out for instructions on joining the hop and to see some great recipes.
