Tip of the Week - Real Ryder Exercise Machine

This week I have another video from the web series Reluctantly Healthy hosted by Judy Greer.  Her co host on this one is Annabelle Rosemurgy (EQ-fitness.com) an Olympic athlete and trainer.  What is a Real Ryder bike?  It is a new exercise machine that mimics a real road bike. It's different than your usual stationary bike. If you have a fitness store near you that offers these bikes, this could be a fun way to get your workouts in while watching Dancing With The Stars or Grey's Anatomy!

Note:  You can turn off my blog music with the iPod player on the right hand side before watching the video.

Product Review - Glade Expressions: Bring Tropical Scents Into Your Home With Pineapple Mangosteen Oil Diffuser

I recently received a complimentary sample of the new Glade Expressions Oil Diffuser and Glade Expressions Fragrance Mist as a BzzAgent.  I also received some coupons and gave some to friends and family.  I love the new Glad Expressions Oil Diffuser.  Not only does it look pretty on my coffee table, but the scent of Pineapple Mangosteen makes my home smell so wonderful.  I love the scent of the tropical blend that is released into our home from this decorative diffuser.  Mine is a bamboo color stand and looks so beautiful.  You notice it when you walk in the door, not as a distraction, but as a pretty artistic looking center piece. Others who don't realize it's an oil diffuser think it's just a pretty piece of artwork I've placed on my table.  The scent makes my home seem like we are on vacation at a fancy, beach town resort. The price is also very reasonable.  I picked up my complimentary sample at my local grocery store and they also had a sale on at the time.  I handed out some coupons to my friends and let them know to get them while they are on sale.  It's a great way to get introduced to these great products.

There are other scents available as well.  I chose the Pineapple Mangosteen because I like a tropical blend.  The choices below also sound good and I plan to try more in the future.

Cotton & Italian Mandarin - Open your home with the bright, breezy blend of cotton and sparkling citrus, honeydew and sandalwood*
Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice - A ripe, spicy blend of sweet pears and crisp apple with a dash of cinnamon and clove that warms and invigorates
Lavender & Juniper Berry - Lush lavender blends with fresh juniper berry, eucalyptus and rose to relax the senses and open your home
Pineapple & Mangosteen - Evoke a tropical paradise with the blend of freshly cut pineapples and hint of tangy mangosteen, creamy coconut and passionflower

*Available in Glade Expressions® Fragrance Mist only.

Tip of the Week - Yogalosophy

This week, I'm adding a video about Yogalosophy.  What is Yogalosophy?  It is a hybrid that was created by Mandy Ingber which pairs a Yoga pose with a toning exercise.  Some of our favorite celebs like Jennifer Aniston and Kate Beckinsale actually fit these exercises into their busy schedules.  This could be a good one to fit into your busy schedule as well.  Hope you enjoy the video!

See my contact information on the tabs above if you want to send me an email with any questions or suggestions.  With my "HLNB Challenge" I'm logging my daily activities of how I keep moving.  I'm not offering any medical advice or making any guarantees.  This is meant for fun and if you want to follow along I hope it will be fun and encouraging  for you too.  I'm also not logging everything I'm eating, only listing the healthier items. I'm trying to convert my family's food choices to more healthy options and fresh foods selections as well.  On days I'm listing more it means I'm replacing less healthy foods with healthier choices.  This is one of my personal healthy living goals. One day when I look back, I hope to see improvements on my activities and on my eating habits. Thanks for following along in the journey.
